Fraserburgh has a varied range of shops and businesses offering local produce and services with a personal touch. The shops in Fraserburgh are very unique and bound to be a rewarding experience.

Opening hours are generally standard from 9.00am - 5.00pm. Traditionally most stores in Fraserburgh close on a Wednesday however not so many shops observe this.  Check out our Business Directory to find out about the range of local retailers in town.

Look out for the new interpretive boards located throughout the town centre offering insights into the History of Fraserburgh, key buildings and significant people.

In the middle of the town, in the Broadgate, you will find the Market Cross. Erected in 1603 as a symbol of baronial burgh status the cross has survived on a number of sites throughout the town. Nearby stands 'The Net' a sculpture commissioned by Aberdeenshire Council as part of the Broadgate refurbishment in 1997/8.
