Fraserburgh Food & Drink Fayre

2005 Review

The organisers were in agreement that there was a bigger crowd than last year ( > 2000 ) and all the stall holders have said that they will be back again next year.

The French duo of Denis Bodin and Jean Michael had brought with them from the other side of the channel some very good wine, cheese, and pate for visitors to sample.

The Fraserburgh Royal British Legion Pipe Band played outside in the sunshine, as a Jazz Band played amid the stalls. Students from Banff and Buchan College were also on hand with short bread and making crepes to order, Kindness Bakery served cake samples, with organic cheese on offer from Mains of Shevado Dairy.

Many people in attendance at the Fayre

Can-Do Community Recycling Stall

Local organisations such as visitfraserburgh.com,   Fraserburgh Rotary Club, and Can-Do Recycling were also in attendance.

Younger visitors to the Fayre were able to burn off their sample on the bouncy castle and inflatable slide.

So if your looking to stimulate the culinary senses - the Food & Drink Fayre is well worth a visit!

Any business wishing to book a stand should contact Stewart Gairns, Manager, at the Fraserburgh Leisure Centre on 01346 516663.
