FRASERBURGH will be hosting the British Kite surfing Association (BKSA) 2009 Wavesmasters event this autumn, with 5 days of competition from the 30 th September to the 4 th October.
The event is a kitesurf wave riding event, with competitors using kites to harness the power of the wind and ride the waves much like surfers.
This is the only BKSA wave riding event to be held this year and is already attracting interest from kitesurfers across the uk. This is the second BKSA kitesurfing event to be held in the Broch, with the first being a freestyle event in 2005.
