2008 FEELING PINK AND POSITIVE
A
Sea of pink enveloped Fraserburgh at the third
annual Moonlight Prowl.
The
event attracted nearly 1,300 female walkers
this year that walked to raise money for the
Breast Care Centre at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
Women
picked either a 6 mile or 13 mile to walk to
raise sponsorship funds.
Organising
committee chairperson Margaret Adams told the
‘Herald'.
‘It
went very well, very well, everyone had a great
night.
“The
committee are absolutely delighted by the response
of the town. There were so many decorations
out on the streets and so many people were out
cheering the ladies on.
We
had people from Australia and America walking
who just thought it was absolutely fantastic.
They were all very impressed with it as a town
and how very supportive it is. Same time next
year “.
