Thousands of car lovers eagerly weaved their way through displays of more than 600 vintage vehicles parked adjacent to the leisure centre. Just about every make of vehicle ever produced was on the show, from Austin to Ferraris, including some military vehicles and buses. There was also a display of vintage cycles and motorcycles. This year, the rally was held in honour of the 100 th anniversary of the Ford 100D. Even Haurel and Lardy were seen entertaining the crowds. Not the real ones, of cource, but tribute actor's Jem Frazer and Graeme Hardy who have immortalised the Hollywood duo across the UK .

Organiser James Gray told the Herald that there were almost 100 more exhibitors this year. Proceeds from the event minus expenses go to charity. Last year, the event sponsored a guide dog puppy, which is now helping a Newburgh couple lead a better life. Organisers also commited cash for another guide dog. “It went very well and we were on a par with last year,” Mr Gray said. “Quite a number of exhibitors who were there for the first time and stayed locally remarked on how impressed they were with Broch hospitality.”
